Yoav Levanon, 14, Solo Piano Recital in Teatro Verdi, Italy
The concert of the talented musician Yoav Levanon will be held at the Teatro Municipal Giuseppe Verdi in Salerno. The program of the evening will see the performance of César Franc's Preludio Corale e Fuga, Ballata n.4, in F minor, op. 52 by Fryderyk Chopin, Images, book I, Reflets dans l'eau (Time Stolen), Hommage à Rameau (Slow and severe) by Claude Debussy and Rapsodie Espagnole by Franz Liszt.
Yoav Levanon began his career as a piano professional at the age of 3, and today is 14 years old and has a surprising career behind him, including performances, prizes won in prestigious competitions, scholarships, and performances with orchestras of all the world. He made his debut on stage at the age of 4 and at 5 years won his first National Piano Competition of Israel, while at 6 years he won his first Gold Medal at an international competition in the United States. He was invited to perform on the prestigious stage of the Carnegie Hall in New York.
At the age of 7 he made his debut as a soloist with the Israeli Chamber Orchestra and at the age of 8, he performed at the opening for the International Summer Jewish Festival together with the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra. At 11, with conductor Daniel Oren, performed the Chopin Piano Concerto No.1 at the San-Carlo Theatre, Naples. From there a continuous growing that lead him to perform in Salerno.
