A rare Italian performance by Yoav Levanon

Yoav Levanon performed as a solo pianist at the Verdi Theater of Salerno in front of an enthusiastic and young audience who enjoyed the piano concerts by Cesar Frank, Fryederyk Chopin, Claude Debussy, and Franz Liszt.

He faces the classic with the attitude of the brilliant child who doesn’t want to infuse his prodigy, but consciously bring back the spirit of the best musicians of all time. His hands travel through time like leaves in the wind. From the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th.  His dogmatic adherence to the work and his tension melt like a piano-shaped chocolate. That is the intense effect of his suggestion.
He learned to play the piano by listening to the birds singing in his country house in Israel and makes us listen to them as well. 

He has been trapped for all his life in the black holes of the big ones, but he doesn’t look for escape routes. He restores their energy giving physicality as a child to the great musical works. He whispers, he doesn’t scream. 
A 14-years-old life entirely dedicated to investigating the world of music. Who knows how many children in this world have shown the same interest in piano and classical music.
His practical skills match those of the greatest pianists of our time, but he is only 14 years old.
