It is likely that the building of the Casino de Madrid , fine and sophisticated, a step away from the Puerta de Sol, is one of the architectural emblems of the Spanish capital, although for private use and restricted to members. Very exclusive, it treasures a rich and careful programming, far from the concept of game, which, in principle, could be attributed to it.

The predominant style from the architectural point of view is close to the late eclecticism composed of medieval remnants with mixtures of French style (neo-baroque) because the Universal Exhibition of Paris (1900) marked the tastes in the constructions of the time.

In this privileged context, a conjunction of stars, made it possible for the Embassy of Israel, the Philharmonic of that country and friends, and the Excelentia Foundation, to organize a concert of a delicacy and criteria in the choice of the interpreters and the repertoire, infrequent Especially with the inclusion of the very young pianist Yoav Lebanon as a soloist, who, with only 14 years, also met at another time, with some representatives of the press chosen from the forum to comment on his career, his experiences and his way of being in the world.

The Excelentia Foundation, very prestigious in Spain for its part, is a private foundation that develops its activities in the field of culture, being the most outstanding in the promotion of classical music. Dedicated to numerous educational and solidarity projects, "her search is oriented towards commitment through art, aware that music is a language for peace, the construction of the universal values of harmony and listening, which both ennoble human being".

The call took place in the beautiful Royal Hall of the Casino, with excellent acoustics and decoration and ornamentation in walls, ceilings, floors, furniture and upholstery, which would authorize to give, without doubt, the category of palace.

The soloists honored the place and the organizers, before a reduced audience also closely linked to the Jewish community in Madrid. The chosen repertoire, delicate and beautiful in the first part, with many possibilities of showmanship for a trio of strings, the two violins and the cello, which agreed at all times to the wonders. Portentoso sound and delivery, although possibly they were aware that the expectation was focused on the second part, with the gifted pianist.

Levanon, recognized, awarded, applauded, has a whole career ahead, but with a substantial past behind him. He made a whole creation in the execution, fingering and interpretation of some pieces specially designed and composed for the brilliance of the great piano performers.

Nostalgic and elegant the Ballade no. 4 of Chopin in F min., Op.52, Debussy's Reflections in the water, evocative and full of dreaminess, played with cleanliness and good taste, as well as the beautiful Spanish Rhapsody by Franz Liszt, crowned by the Sonata for violin and piano in G major KV301, WAMozart, which closed the circle of the classical era, started in the first part with the Sonata no. 1 in F major and the 12 German Dances of Joseph Haydn, interpreted with fine and absolute stylistic respect by the violinists of Moldavian origin, Lilia and DumitruPocitari and the cello KirillMihanovsky. The trio op. 22. No. 1 of FA Hoffmeister, less frequented, was also executed by the string trio with gallantry and dexterity, full of freshness.

The toast was cordial, close and favorable to the reunion of friends, colleagues and acquaintances, although there were few or almost no representative of the press. A climate of participation, relaxed but quite intimate. The cold of Madrid waited outside, but inside, lots of music and an atmosphere full of warmth, belonging.
